The Boundary Work Women Were Never Taught

Most of us were raised to be helpful, kind, and available to the people we love. No one ever sat us down and taught us that having limits is not only okay it's healthy. This workshop is that conversation. At your own pace, in your own time."

Presented by Roslene Curtis AMFT #160339

Roslene Curtis is a licensed therapist, a woman of faith, and someone who deeply believes that you were not created to be everything to everyone. She created The Boundary Work Women Were Never Taught because she knows firsthand how confusing it can feel to hold your faith, your relationships, and your own needs all at once and how rarely women are given permission to honor all three. This workshop is her way of handing you that permission."

Sound Familiar?

You say yes when you mean no. You feel guilty for disappointing people. You pour yourself out for everyone around you and wonder why you feel so empty.

Maybe you've tried to speak up before but backed down the moment someone seemed hurt or frustrated. Maybe you've been told or simply learned that a good woman, a good mother, a good friend, puts others first. Always.

This isn't a flaw in your character. It's a pattern that was handed to you often with the best intentions.

Many of us were raised to believe that selflessness is a virtue. And in many ways it is. But somewhere along the way, selflessness became self-erasure. Kindness became silence. Generosity became obligation. Even our faith which calls us to love others well was never meant to mean that we disappear in the process.

You were made with needs, feelings, and limits that are worth honoring. Caring for others deeply and having healthy boundaries aren't opposites they go hand in hand.

The result of never learning this? Exhaustion. Quiet resentment. Relationships that feel one-sided. A gentle but persistent sense that somewhere along the way, you lost yourself.

It doesn't have to stay this way. And you don't have to choose between loving others well and honoring yourself.

What Is This Workshop?

The Boundary Work Women Were Never Taught is a pre-recorded online workshop created by Roslene Curtis, AMFT, a licensed therapist who specializes in helping women build healthier patterns in their relationships and their lives.

This is not a lecture about what boundaries are. This is a guided, practical experience that helps you understand why boundaries have felt so hard, what they actually look like in real life, and exactly how to start building them without blowing up your relationships in the process.

And for those whose faith is central to their lives this workshop honors that. Healthy boundaries and loving others well are not in conflict. This workshop helps you see how they work beautifully together.

What's included:

  • 6 video modules approximately one hour of total content

  • PDF workbook and worksheets for each module

  • Weekly integration assignments to help you apply what you learn

  • Ninety Day access to work through it at your own pace

Welcome and Course Overview

An introduction to the workshop, how to use it, and what to expect. Roslene sets the tone for a safe, honest, and practical learning experience.

Module1: Why Boundaries Feel Hard

We start where most women are; confused about why something that sounds so simple feels so impossibly difficult. You'll discover the roots of your boundary struggles and why they make complete sense given what you were taught.

Module 2: The Hidden Cost

What does life without boundaries actually cost you? This module helps you get honest about the toll that people-pleasing, overgiving, and chronic self-abandonment takes on your energy, health, and relationships.

Module 3: Guilt and Pushback

The moment you start setting boundaries, the guilt shows up. So does the pushback. This module prepares you for both — and gives you tools to hold your ground with compassion and confidence.

Module 4: What Boundaries Actually Are

Most women have a distorted idea of what boundaries really are. This module reframes everything helping you understand that boundaries aren't walls, ultimatums, or acts of selfishness. They're acts of honesty and self-respect.
