Chris Bateman is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and the founder of Renewal Counseling Centers in San Diego. With over 20 years of clinical experience and a background in pastoral care, Chris brings a calm, grounded presence to the couples, families, and individuals he serves.

Chris specializes in couples therapy, marriage counseling, and faith-integrated care. He is trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and uses Gottman-informed approaches to help couples understand the patterns driving their disconnection and build the kind of secure, lasting bond they're looking for. He has a particular passion for helping couples navigate communication breakdown, emotional distance, affair recovery, and the anxious-avoidant cycle.

Beyond the therapy room Chris hosts the podcast "Where Do We Grow From Here"  a resource for couples and individuals navigating relationships, personal growth, and faith.

Roslene Curtis is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist at Renewal Counseling Centers in San Diego. She holds a Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling from Point Loma Nazarene University and works with individuals, women, couples, and families navigating some of life's most difficult seasons.

​

Roslene specializes in grief counseling, anxiety, identity development, and relationship challenges. Her approach blends evidence-based therapeutic practices with genuine warmth and compassion, creating a space where clients feel truly heard, unhurried, and supported. She has a particular gift for working with women navigating loss, life transitions, and the quiet exhaustion that comes from giving too much of themselves for too long.

Roslene is also the creator of The Boundary Work Women Were Never Taught, a pre-recorded online workshop helping women understand and build healthy boundaries in their relationships and their lives.
